International Perspectives on Street Art

  • Fordham University School of Law 150 West 62nd Street New York, NY, 10023 United States (map)

Center for Art Law and the Fordham Art Law Society invite you to attend a panel discussion about international law and street art.

From urban decay to international art sales rooms and courtrooms, street art has been inspiring academics and generating collectors' buzz but also setting legal precedent around the world. This panel will explore the international side of the topic and panelists will compare how street art is protected – or not – in the United States and beyond. Panelists will explore the implications of the 5Pointz decision and pending appeal on the rights of artists and real estate owners.
